Market Research Associate

A 300Brand market research associate works in a dynamic, impactful role by supporting the 300Brand team in the development of agency-wide research programs. Market research associates are actively involved throughout the entire research cycle and work closely with internal client teams to assist project development from conception, to survey development, to the analysis and creation of client- and media-ready deliverables. We’re looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented market research professional who is eager to take the next steps in his/her career and passionate about the power of data and delivering exceptional results.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Under supervision, develop and implement primary and secondary market research
  • Draft, edit, and field survey instruments that get to the core of clients’ research questions
  • Program surveys into one of 300Brand’s survey platforms and coordinate the survey’s launch with internal resources and/or panel partners
  • Monitor data collection to ensure all surveys are performing at optimum quality levels and troubleshoot as needed
  • Compile and analyze feedback from online surveys, customer focus groups, executive interviews, and other research techniques
  • Interpret data and convert analysis into professional, well-designed, easy-to-digest reports with insightful key findings and actionable recommendations
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors
  • Track the latest industry trends to aid in development of survey instruments and key deliverables using internal and external sources
  • Work with the marketing and event teams to support non-research initiatives throughout the agency

Skills Required

  • BA or BS in marketing, communications, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection (i.e., online surveys, event surveys, in-depth telephone interviewing)
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, interpretation, and insight development
  • Strong command of primary and secondary research design/methodology
  • Proven storytelling and data visualization/design experience to present research results with maximum impact
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to pick up new quantitative skills and market research methodologies as necessary and apply them in new contexts
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to generate ideas and think creatively

Other Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience in the technology industry helpful
  • 1-2 years market research experience preferred
