Marketing / Event Coordinator, MeriTalk

MeriTalk, a 300Brand organization that publishes original content and hosts a series of events, seeks a marketing and event coordinator to support all aspects of event production, marketing, and publishing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engaging with social media to promote MeriTalk events
  • With supervision, write and edit web copy, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, prepared remarks, and marketing promotion copy
  • Manage event registrations
  • Assist with speaker and moderator preparation for events
  • Update calendar of events and ensure no duplications or competing events
  • Onsite event logistics support including managing the production of and organizing distribution of attendee name badges
  • Creating and tabulating the results of attendee evaluation forms in order to ascertain feedback for future events
  • Coordinate webinars
  • Assist with administrative tasks

Desired Skills and Experience

  • BA or BS degree in related field
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High energy with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work under pressure
  • Ability to facilitate organization of project details
