Account Coordinator | Administrative Assistant

The Account Coordinator provides administrative support to the senior staff in all areas, including: research projects, business proposals, writing, creative development, and project management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute administrative tasks: schedule internal and external meetings, manage calendars, provide logistics support and meeting summaries
  • Develop relationships with external audiences (media, third party constituencies, etc.) to convey the client’s message and company brand
  • Assist in developing new business proposals
  • Increase client visibility through social media engagement
  • Write and distribute news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, prepared remarks, market research reports, and pitch letters
  • Coordinate and manage specific events and promotions for the client
  • Monitor media to report coverage that affects the client’s business
  • Represent client at events or trade shows
  • Handle basic research of client’s business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base

Skills Required

  • BA or BS degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or business
